The Y20 uses a single bottom-firing driver. The grille on the other side of the charging port is a microphone. Cover each in turn while audio plays — only one will change the sound. This prevents cleaning an opening that was never an output.
Settings → Sound and vibration includes audio effects and equaliser options on Funtouch OS. If an update reset these, audio can seem to have lost volume or bass with nothing physically wrong. Set any equaliser flat and retest before assuming blockage.
Also check that Do Not Disturb or any scheduled mode is not active, and that media volume specifically — not ringer — is turned up. Start audio playing, then adjust.
Dial *#558# for the Funtouch hardware test menu, which includes a loudspeaker check on many
models. Running it before and after cleaning gives you an objective comparison rather than relying on
