Which guide covers your problem

Tap the button below. It plays a low‑frequency sound that vibrates the speaker and pushes trapped water and dust out of the grille. Turn your volume up to about 80%.

Frequency 165 Hz Time left 0.0 s

💡 Point the speaker downward so gravity helps the water escape. Repeat 2–3 times if needed.

Speaker Fix Tool

Select your issue and run the appropriate fix cycle to restore your speaker audio in about a minute.

Preparation

Before you start

🧻

Wipe visible water

Dry the outside of your phone first.

🔽

Speaker facing down

Let gravity help pull the water out.

🎧

Disconnect Bluetooth

Ensure audio plays through the phone's internal speakers.

🔊

Volume around 70-80%

Never use earbuds. Turn volume up, but 100% isn't required.

Core Features

Fix My Speaker Functions

Our tool is designed to target the three most common speaker issues using precise acoustic frequencies. Whether your phone took a dive or just sounds muffled from pocket lint, here is how we fix it.

Hover over the cards below to see the effect
💧

Eject Water

Clear trapped water from your phone in about 60 seconds. The steady 165 Hz vibration physically pushes trapped liquid out of the speaker mesh.

Eject Water

A steady 165 Hz tone — the sweet spot for maximum diaphragm travel — physically pushes trapped water out.

🧹

Clean Dust

Use our deep clean mode to act as a dust remover. Sweeping low frequencies shake loose stubborn dirt, sand, and lint.

Deep Clean

Sweeps across low frequencies (120–400 Hz) to shake loose lint, dust and stubborn droplets the single tone misses.

🎵

Restore Volume

Act as a volume booster for muffled speakers. Clear out blockages to restore heavy sound, loud bass, and crisp audio.

Test Sound

A clean 440 Hz reference tone so you can hear whether your speaker sounds clear again after cleaning.

Perfectly safe. These are ordinary frequencies your speaker already plays during music. The tool never exceeds normal listening levels — it just concentrates the energy at the frequency that moves water best.

Organised by symptom rather than by topic, because the symptom is what you actually have.

For a complete overview, see our full guide: Diagnosing what is actually wrong.

Sound is muffled or quiet

The commonest complaint and usually blockage. If it started suddenly after liquid exposure, see water ejection. If it developed gradually over weeks or months with no water involved, see dust and lint removal. If both apply, see handling water and dust together — order matters there.

Sound is quiet but clear

Different problem. That points at settings or the hardware ceiling rather than obstruction. See restoring lost volume.

Buzzing, crackling or rattling

Usually not blockage. See diagnosing what is actually wrong to match the specific noise to its cause, then the signs of genuine hardware damage.

No sound at all

Blockage produces quiet, never silence. Start with the diagnostic guide — the cause is usually audio routing, a stuck headphone flag, or a hardware fault.

Calls are quiet but music is fine

That is the earpiece, a separate component. See fixing the earpiece speaker. It clogs with facial oil rather than pocket lint, which changes the method.

Understanding the method

What the frequency actually does covers the physics, including why tones advertised above 20 kHz cannot work.

When it is a repair job

Repair, replace, or live with it covers what drives the cost and the questions worth asking before authorising work.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I set volume to maximum?

No. Around 70 to 80 percent is the practical sweet spot. Maximum volume on a restricted diaphragm produces distortion rather than more displacement, and adds avoidable stress to the driver.

Does the rice trick work?

No. Rice is a poor desiccant — open moving air dries a device faster — and its starch dust migrates into the charging port, microphone holes and speaker grille, which can create a second problem on top of the first.

It is still muffled after several tries. Now what?

Stop. If three cycles produce no improvement at all, the cause is not blockage. Check the symptoms on our guide to when a sound tool will not help, and have the device inspected rather than continuing to run cycles.

Can this damage my speaker?

No. The frequencies used sit inside the range your speaker already reproduces whenever you play music, and the tool runs at moderate volume rather than maximum. The one genuine caution is earbuds: never run ejection tones into in-ear devices while you are wearing them.

How long should I run it?

Thirty to sixty seconds per cycle, repeated two or three times with short pauses. Running it continuously for many minutes adds nothing once the accessible liquid is out, and only heats the voice coil.

What this cannot fix

Our tool is great for water and dust, but it cannot fix physically blown speakers or electrical damage.
